Who Are Rescue Mission Donors?
Rescue Mission donors include anyone who makes a financial or gift-in-kind contribution to our organization, including those who have purchased registration or tickets to Rescue Mission fundraising events.
The Rescue Mission is committed to protecting your financial information, and has implemented practices online and in our offices that are designed to do so. On our donation and registration web pages, please make note of the domain name in your website URL. The name there begins with “https,” which indicates that the page is encrypted. In addition to this encryption, our donation pages are designed to comply with industry standards using the following platforms: Weblinks, DonorPerfect and DonorPages. Those platforms use the security tool, SofterWare, to provide donors with a secure means to give online.
Subject to your right to opt-out (discussed below), the Rescue Mission occasionally makes donor names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and/or phone numbers available to other reputable nonprofit and commercial organizations. This limited information sharing is part of a cooperative effort to develop new donors and supporters who care about our work. Please contact the Rescue Mission if you do not want your name, address, email or phone number to be shared with other organizations as described above. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us at the postal address or phone number below. All opt-out requests are honored, but please allow for six (6) to eight (8) weeks for changes to be fully implemented.
The Rescue Mission uses third-party vendors to provide services on our websites and for other administrative operations. The information that you submit on this site may be provided to those vendors so that they can provide services on our behalf (such as data storage and maintenance or processing credit card transactions). The Rescue Mission also reserves the right to share information with legal authorities in response to a legal order or official request.
We Care About Doing it Right
The Rescue Mission cares about maintaining your personal information with integrity. We employ a variety of practices (e.g. securing physical locations where information is kept, and employing industry standards in data security) to ensure the accuracy of your information and to keep it secure.
While we follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information submitted to us, no method of transmission, or method of electronic or other storage, is 100 percent secure. We strive to protect your personal information, but cannot guarantee its absolute security.
