Donation Acknowledgement Policy

Your gift to the Rescue Mission Alliance supports our programs to end hunger and homelessness, provide case managers, spiritual care, and share hope.
It is important to us that you know that we have received your donation, and that we are deeply grateful for your support. We strive to maximize the dollars you give by being deliberate with the amount of mail we send.
Gifts by Mail
Supporters who give by mail receive “thank you” letters by mail on a monthly basis. Please allow up to six weeks to receive your acknowledgement letter. In addition, all donors also receive an annual contributions receipt, summarizing their gifts for the calendar year. Donors who give by mail can request to only receive the annual contributions receipt by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (315) 472-6251.
Supporters who give through our website are sent a “thank you” message by email within 24 hours. In addition, all donors also receive an annual contributions receipt by mail that summarizes their gifts for the calendar year.
